Syllabus

(labs) Appearance and volume of urine, osmolality of urine. Urine pH measurement. Tests in routine urinalysis, determination of pathological components, multipurpose diagnostic strips in urinalysis.
(labs) Simplified chemical analysis of renal calculi. Practice in urinalysis, seeking for pathological constituents in urine.
(labs) Determination of gastric acid output. Tubeless gastric analyses.
(sem) Acute myocardial infarction. Tumour markers.
(sem) Water and mineral metabolism.
Acid-base balance.
