Course objectives
The aim of the tuition in the following term for the students of the dental medicine is the introduction of the main topics in the surgical treatment i.e. thoracic, biliodigestive, colorectal, vascular, endocrine and miniinvasive surgery. Student should acquire the basical knowledge and orientation in the surgical specialities.

Assessment methods
Lessons are organized in the one-week block (3 teaching ours per day) The tuition has a form of presentations with the practical bedside examples of the patients with the relation to the given topic. Giving the course-unit credit is conditioned by full attendance in the lessons.
