- Course objectives
- Students will gain knowledge and skills needed to implement nursing activities in the field of pre-hospital and hospital emergency care.
- Syllabus
- First The inputs to the respiratory airway in children and adults, types of air ducts, minitracheostomie, coniotomy, larmasky, intubation through the mouth and nose.
- Second Fundamentals of mechanical ventilation with manual and automatic fan. Specifics of nursing care.
- 3rd Defibrillation, cardioversion, and pacing.
- 4th Application of medical gases, intoxication.
- 5th Nursing care in pneumothorax, chest drainage, treatment of the PNP and IP.
- 6th Nursing care for burns, amputations, polytrauma, spinal trauma, with gunshot wounds.
- 7th Specifics of immediate and urgent care for children of different ages.
- 8th Basic material equipment in emergency medicine, emergency vehicle equipment, knowledge of handling this equipment, care of the vehicle, workplace equipment IP, control monitoring techniques.
