- Orthopaedics.
- The education in the orthopaedic surgery involves all main fields. The education is divided into theroretical lecture in the lecture hall and into practical presentation of clinical cases in the patients's bedroom. Methods of clinical examination, evaluation of X-ray pictures and other imaging methods, setting the diagnosis, manegement, clinical course of the disease, complications and prognosis are involved in all practise meeting.
- 1st day: Clinical examination in orthopaedics, degenerative disease of bone, artificial joints, fractures and diclocations in generally, fractures and dislocations in pelvis, fractures and dislocations of the femur.
- 2nd day: Imaging methods in orthopaedics,infections of bone and joints, injuries of the knee joint, fractures and dislocations of the leg.
- 3rd day: Scoliosis, kyphosis, low back pain, fractures in the region of cervical and thoracolumbar spine,fractures and dislocation in the region of the shoulder, fractures and dislocation of the elbow and forearm.
- 4th day: Congenital anomalies of locomotor apparatus, aseptic necrosis of bones, slipped upper femoral epiphysis, fractures in children, ruptures of tendons.
- 5th day: Musculoskeletal tumours, deformities of the foot, entesopathies, osteoporosis, osteomalatia, fractures and dislocations of the wrist and hand, prosthetic devices, orthosis, epithesis.
