- Course objectives
- The subject defines standardized terms used in spectacle vision correction and it further deals with the classification of these terms and goals of the vision correction. The syllabus of the subject covers anatomical, esthetic, and optical considerations for the spectacle assembly from basic components and adaptation of these components with respect to the specific anatomical and physiognomic features of the final user. The subject also deals with the spectacle statics, design conditions required to maintain adequate user comfort, and it introduces the basic findings of the research fields of elasticity and strength relevant to the spectacle design.

- History of spectacle correction, spectacle frames and theirs distribution Principle systems of measurements and dimensions of spectacle frames Definition of spectacle technics and adjustment of glasses Special anatomy and morfology of head Spectacle aestheties, constitutional types and constitutional psychology of man Problems loading of the skin and statics of glasses
