- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is kinesiotherapy. Practical exercises take place at bed in clinical departments. The education is lead by experienced physiotherapeutist, who treats the patients. The physiotherapeutist also teaches the students according to the latest knowledge in therapeutic exercises, in compliance with health and safety provisions of the labor code and ethical standards. The physiotherapeutist used for teaching in addition to the literature mentioned in the conclusion syllabus the scientific information published in word literature and apply the latest scientific methods and specialized techniques in therapeutic exercises.
The objective of teaching is to improved knowledge of therapeutic exercises in patients with internal diseases.
Students are encouraged to understand the relationship between physiological and pathological conditions of diseases and, consequently, preventive, clinical and therapeutic implications. Practical exercises are aimed at exercise therapy in cardiology, in pneumology in gastroenterology, in nephrology in endocrinology, in metabolic diseases, in rheumatology, civilization diseases and there are in the highly specialized departments of internal medicine in the Faculty hospital of St. Anna in Brno. - Syllabus
