Course objectives
The students will be able on the ende of course the epidemiology of infectious diseases to understand and explain the epidemic process and factors affecting the transmission of infections.
The students can capable tu use the informations about the current events and epidemiologic situation.
The students will be able prezent the basic requirement besides epidemiologic methods also principles of general epidemiology of infectious diseases as they are being treated in the light of the evolutionary concept of the origin of infectious diseases.
The students in this field has to master the terminology and methods of the epidemiology of non-communicable disease and, but, also to grasp the komplexity, made more difficult by the fact that the diseases under study can be transmitted from one person to another.
The absolvent will be able to given over ruling about as for being cumulative incidence known infectious diseases and on the basic new knolidges in epidemiology to derive epidemiologic measures by the unusual conditions (gene mutation, the importation high contagious diseases).
