- Course objectives
- Subject is in the conection of the theoretical instruction from transcultural nursing. On the basis of the acquired knowledge of the theory of teaching, students apply their knowledge and experiences from practice in the nursing process in the care of selected nationalities and ethnic groups living in the Czech Republic with the use of conceptual model (Joyce Newman Giger, Ruth Elaine Davidhizar - The cultural and considerate tailored care)

- Ethical aspects and communication in a transcultural nursing (communication barriers, verbal and nonverbal communication, the principles of interpretation). Nursing process in a transcultural nursing. Spiritual needs of the nursing process. Selected ethnic minorities, ethnic and religious groups.
