- Course objectives
- Learning outcomes of the course unit are aimed in the physiotherapy in internal medicine to supplement and extend the knowledge beyond the knowledge of the bachelor study on exercise testing and physical therapy. It deals mainly with the treatment of patients after acute myocardial infarction, chronic heart failure, cardiac transplant patients in the first stage of cardiovascular rehabilitation the patient's beds and the second phase of cardiovascular rehabilitation of cardiovascular patients. The follow-up master students will be acquainted with the movement treatment of endocrinological diseases - diabetes mellitus, obesity, in patients with metabolic syndrome. Beyond baccalaureate studies the students will gain knowledge in respiratory physiotherapy in acute respiratory failure and pulmonary diseases, physiotherapy in kidney disease and chronic renal failure.
