Course objectives
Main objectives aim to give the students a broad knowledge in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology from the point of view of theory and practice. It has no links with previous secondary school education. It presents the basic subject for the future professional activities of midwives. The lectures aim to procure the students a deep knowledge of no risk, risk and high risk pregnancies, the conduct of spontaneous, high risk and operative deliveries and physiology and pathology of puerperium including the lactation.
Learning outcomes
She is able to orientate herself in the field of prevention, dispensarization, diagnosis and treatment of pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium
Syllabus
  • The practice should help reaching high level of knowledge and skills, bedside care skills in diagnostics and treatment of pathologies:
  • Premature delivery, postterm pregnancy, hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, isoimmunisation, diabetes in pregnancy, multiple pregnancy, fetal distress, bleeding in pregnancy and during the delivery, drug abuse in pregnancy, renal disorders in pregnancy, gynecology disorders in pregnancy, prenatal diagnostics, genetics, postpartal bleeding.
