- Course objectives
- The course is conceived as practical. It belongs to the complex of clinical nursing;
It introduces students to the care of women in different age periods, both in health and in sickness. It also focuses on the period of pregnancy, especially for acute conditions that may occur, as well as the birth and care of the newborn, including any resuscitation;
Students will be able to understand the problems of prevention, follow-up, diagnosis and treatment of acute gynecological conditions and conditions arising during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. - Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to understand the problems of prevention, follow-up, diagnosis and treatment of acute gynecological conditions and conditions arising during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. Students will be able to practice a woman and a newborn during delivery in the field or home, during physiological and pathological delivery, care for a woman in the puerperium, and care for a woman during a sudden accident during pregnancy, during childbirth and in puerperium.

- Help the abrupt labor in the field or home;
- Treatment of healthy newborns;
- Treatment of pathological newborn;
- Caring for a woman in childbed;
- Sudden events in pregnancy, during childbirth and the postpartum period.
