- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to: • 1. Name all parts of the human skeleton including the detailed relief. • 2. Describe correctly joints of the bones. • 3. Describe the movements occurring at each joint. • 4. Characterize the newborn skull. • 5. Distinguish the male and female skull and pelvis. • 6. Identify individual muscles of the human body, discuss their attachments and innervations. • 7. Define actions of individual muscles and muscular groups. • 8. Define the components of the major organ systems (digestive, respiratory, urinary,female and male genital) • 9. Explain the morphology of the organs • 10. Create apprehension about position and spatial relationships of particular organs and organ systems
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to name all parts of the human skeleton including the detailed relief, describe correctly joints of the bones, describe the movements occurring at each joint, identify individual muscles of the human body, discuss their attachments and innervations, define actions of individual muscles and muscular groups. After that, define the components of the major organ systems (digestive, respiratory, urinary,female and male genital), explain the morphology of the organs and create apprehension about position and spatial relationships of particular organs and organ systems.

- 1. Introduction to anatomy (anatomical terminology, planes and directions of the human body). Osteology, rules for description of bones. Introduction to radiology. Skeleton of the spine and thorax. • 2. Skeleton of the extremities • 3. Bones of the neurocranium. • 4.Bones of splanchnocranium. • 5. Cavities of the skull. • 6. General arthrology, Joints of the head, spine and thorax • 7. Joints of the extremities • 8. General myology, Muscles and fasciae of the head and neck• 9.The muscles of the thorax, abdomen and back• 10. Muscles of the extremities • 11. Digestive system• 12. Respiratory system, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, thymus• 13. Urinary system, suprarenal glands, Male genital system. • 14. Female genital system,Pelvic floor
