Course objectives
The aim of the course is to teach the student how to communicate professional information and knowledge and to engage in discussions about them.
Learning outcomes
A graduate of the course will be: - able to understand professional/scientific texts and information, - able to analyze them and communicate them clearly in both visual and verbal form.
Syllabus
  • • Publication of the topic offers (scientific articles) to students (14 days before the start of the course) • Students select topics (each student selects 2 topics) • The teacher assigns students to present at individual seminars (at least one week in advance) • Each student presents at least one topic during the course • A discussion is held for each topic (led by the teacher, with student participation)

  • Literatura je představována individuálními články (experimentální i přehledové) publikovanými ve vědeckých časopisech z oblasti buněčné biologie, vývojové biologie či biologie reprodukce. Články vybírá učitel nově pro každý jednotlivý kurz (semestr).

A presentation led by the student followed by a discussion with the entire seminar group.
