- Course objectives
- - student describes the classification of teaching aids; - student explains the difference between the aid and the natural; - student explains the difference between working and systematic collection of natural products; - student creates a collection of natural products; - student creates a lapbook on a selected topic; - the student explains what types of books and texts can be used to prepare lessons; - the student gives at least 5 examples for each category of books and texts; - student characterizes organisms occurring in the selected habitat on the basis of observations and work with literature; - student describes the features according to which the selected organism can be reliably determined.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to: - classify teaching aids; - characterize selected teaching aids; - create selected teaching aids; - observe natural products in the natural environment.

- Form of teaching: mass-frontal, mass-independent work, group-homogeneous, group-heterogeneous, group-differentiated. Teaching methods: lectures, explanations, interview, class discussions, projection of static images
- Assessment methods
- - student will attend at least 5 of 6 exercises - (80% attendance) - In the course of the exercises the students develop materials that they will create in the "Portfolio of Beginning Natural History Teacher" - students take a written test (colloquium) only if they have completed attendance at seminars and all tasks from the seminar are recognized - the colloquium will be awarded on the basis of completion of assignments from seminars and a written test of 70%
