Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint the student with Czech didactics as a coherent discipline and relationships with other linguistic, pedagogical and psychological disciplines, to teach him to use the acquired information for the development of teaching skills, to create study plans and to use the teaching methods correctly.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the lecture the students will be able to present didactics of the Czech language as a comprehensive scientific branch. Students will be able to recognise its relations to other linguistic, pedagogic, and psychological disciplines. Students will be able to use their knowledge to extend their teaching knowledge. The students will understand how to make the connection to the curricula. Students will be using acquiring knowledge, skills, and habits to improve the teaching forms and methods.

  • 1 Didactics, its subject and the relationship to other disciplines. 2 Position of the Czech language in the curricula of all types of school. the goals of teaching Czech. 3 Relationship among language, stylistic and literary teaching. Didactic principles. 4 Personality of the teacher. 5 Teaching content in the individual school stages. 6 Knowledge, skills, habits. 7 Teaching forms and methods. 8 Teaching aids.
