- Course objectives
- The task of the discipline is to apply the theoretical knowledge of the course Lexicology and Stylistics 1 in practical analysis of Russian-language texts of various functional styles. The basis of the work of the seminar is a lexical semantic text analysis, analysis of the linguistic resources in the lexical, morphological, syntactic and phonetic. Emphasis is placed on identifying differences in functional stylistics between Czech and Russian.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course the student will be able to describe used vocabulary in terms of functional differentiation, characterize functional styles and used language means, find and define differences between Czech and Russian, determine and predict current trends of vocabulary development and changes in functional style characterization.
