- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to provide deep information about education of individual with physical disabilities, apply knowledge and specify the support of pupils with cerebral palsy, simulate methods and education of defined group of pupils.
- Learning outcomes
- The students will get the widen knowledge of the field of teaching children with physical disability and knows to apply the knowledge regarding to the specifics of support of pupil with cerebral palsy, knows to apply the methods and forms of education of defined group of pupils.
- Syllabus
- 1. Definition of basic concepts. 2. Classification, etiology and description on CP. 3. Development of child with diplegia. 4. Development of child with hemiplegia. 5. Development of child with kvadruplegia. 6. Dyskinetics forms. 7. Psycho motor development of pupils with CP. 8. Disordered communication ability of pupils with CP. 9. Difficulties in food intake. 10. Specifics in the learning process of children with CP. 11. Sensomotorics. 12. Specifics of support in education of children with CP. 13. CP as a combined disability. 14. Epilepsy with CP. 15. Advisory service. 16. Multidisciplinary cooperation.
