Course objectives
The Goal of course is support the specific abbility to working with other teacher in classroom. During the practice students will be cooperate with teacher with preaparing study materials, using pedagogical instruments, co-teach and discussion something about formative assesment and planing lectures for pupils. After taking the course the student will be able to: • understand the process of supporting pupils with SEN • organise goals and choose the methods that are useful in the process of tutoring with respect to a specific child • communicate with the teacher regarding the planning, implementation and evaluation of educational activities in the classroom • coordinate the work of one student as well as groups of students (including students with SEN) • make contact with pupils’ parents.
The student will try to lead a pedagogical activity in a school classroom (primary school, high school) under the supervision of the accompanying teacher. The student will try tandem teaching as agreed with the accompanying teacher.
Learning outcomes
After taking the course the student will be able to: • understand the process of supporting pupils with SEN • organize goals and choose the methods that are useful in the process of tutoring with respect to a specific child • communicate with the teacher regarding the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational activities in the classroom • coordinate the work of one student as well as groups of students (including students with SEN) • make contact with pupils’ parents • have experience from the group reflection • have experience with A student teacher professional competence standard.

Syllabus
  • From a list of cooperating schools, the student chooses a teacher who they will work with on the teaching practice and with whom they will fulfill the duties of a teaching assistant. The first meeting between the student and the teacher will be held at the chosen school, during which the expectations of both parties will be expressed, a timetable for cooperation will be drawn up and cooperation possibilities and desired outcomes will be agreed on. The student will work with the teacher every week for the duration of the teaching practice. This is continuous practice which the student performs over 10 weeks during the semester. They spend 120 hours in the school on actual educational activity and 20-40 hours on preparation. Student partipates on 1 group supervision. The date and place for supervizion will be annouced. Assessment methods
The students receive feedback on their educational activities from the cooperating teacher at the school and peer review from students. They insert the written outcomes from the teaching practice into the prepared application in the information system.

Termín plnění praxe je možné individuálně zvolit dle domluvy s~vyučujícím předmětu (např. při výjezdu na zahraniční studijní pobyt).

Group supervision will take place if at least 5 people sign up. In order to be awarded credit, it is necessary to: -complete the entire practice according to the set conditions and submit the practice output to the information system by the set deadline, -participate in workshops with secondary school teachers (sharing good practice), an initial organizational meeting, a reflective meeting and an evaluation meeting at the faculty.
