Course objectives
In the course, the student will learn to distinguish and evaluate different types of test tasks. The student will practice designing and implementing research-oriented instruction. The student will also learn about the specifics of managing and diagnostic phases of teaching. The student will experience how to construct and evaluate didactic tests.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
Distinguish and characterize the different types of test problems according to Chrásky
Design and implement research-oriented instruction
Characterize selected diagnostic methods
Summarise the principles of didactic test design
Design a didactic test for a selected subject unit
Design a classification scale for a didactic test
Syllabus
  • 1. Planning and preparation of teaching: teaching tasks, their typology and use in teaching (3 hours).
  • 2. Planning and preparation of teaching: preparation of research-oriented teaching. (3 hrs.)
  • 3. Implement and manage science and biology teaching (3 hours).
  • 4. Diagnostic phase of science and biology teaching: types of diagnostic tools and their (3 hours)
  • 5. Diagnostic phase of teaching science and biology: didactic test, its characteristics and (3 hours)
