Course objectives
Continuation of the theory and didactics of physical education in the form of application of theoretical skills to prepare, realise, supervise and examine of the students' teaching experiments.
Learning outcomes
The students will be able to structure physical education lessons according to the content of compulsory education (educational programmes), develop appropriate PE lesson plans with elements of health education, and successfully deliver PE lessons in the first stage of elementary schools. Based on observation of PE lessons the students will be able to assess the qualitative and quantitative indicators of teaching PE with elements of health education.
Syllabus
  • 1. Examination of the teacher's and pupils' educational activities, methods and approaches to the examination, efficiency and lesson intensiveness criteria. 2. Preparation and realisation of a teaching experiment, acquaintance with and application of the basic methods of the supervision of physical education lesson.3. Results of supervision and examination of students' teaching experiments in physical education lessons at 1st grade of primary schools.

Theoretical and practical seminar completed by an oral and written exam. A part of the exam is analysis of written preparation of a physical education lesson.
