Course objectives
Knowledge of idioms is essential for advanced speakers of English in that it serves better understanding and appreciation of both colloquial and literary language. Work on this course is geared towards practice in the use of idioms. Worksheets and dialogues introduce the most frequent idioms used in daily life.
