Course objectives
This subject deals with the morphology in the teaching process in the lower classes of the secondary schools. The morphology (and the orthography, too) is one of the most important components in the teaching language. Training in using special literature (Czech grammars) and with the Rules of the Czech orthography, with the Dictionary of the literary Czech.
Syllabus
  • 1. Words in the word categories of morphological, lexical, semantic and syntactical points of view. 2. Grammar categories of the substantives, adjectives, pronouns, numerals. Correct recognising of the gender, animateness, number and cases. 3. Verbal grammar categories. Norm and codification. 4. Correct forms of the inflected words. Morphological orthography. Practise, working with dictionaries and handbooks of orthographic rules.
