- Course objectives
- The course 'Gramatika B' mainly focuses on the practice of various grammatical issues at advanced level within the word classes listed below. Students are provided with the theoretical background, the knowledge of which should enhance their understanding of the underlying principles of the language in question. The seminar work involves discussing the topic using the examples from the handout as well as the students' own examples, exercises from the Worksheet, S. Chalker's Workbook and Grammar I. by R. Povolná.

- The course is based on 'A Student's Grammar of the English Language' by Sidney Greenbaum and Randolph Quirk, namely chapters 5,6,7 and 9.
