- Course objectives
- Main objectives can be summarized as follows: intensifying of basic knowledge about problematics of general zoology; observation of structure and funtion of the animal cell; recognizing of particular characteristic tissues and organs; acquirement of skills necessary during work with microscope; during drawing record; creating generally positive attempt to autopsy studies is very important too.
- Syllabus
- 1. Observation and drawing of protozoan cells – permanent microscopical preparations
- 2. Observation and drawing of free animal cells, esp. erythrocytes and leukocytes of vertebrates – permanent microscopical preparations of blood
- 3. Observation and drawing of living protozoans (Paramecium caudatum)
- 4. Colouring of protozoans (Paramecium caudatum) after death
- 5. Observation and drawing of permanent and native microscopical preparations – different shape of cells, and cell inclusions
- 6. Preparation, observation and drawing of native microscopical preparation of polythene chromosomes
- 7. Observation and drawing of permanent microscopical preparations – types of epitethelium according shape of cells
- 8. Observation and drawing of permanent microscopical preparations – types of epitethelium according number of layers
- 9. Observation and drawing of permanent microscopical preparations – kinds of epitethelium according funtion
