- Course objectives
- Specialisation in the Field of Study 3 Childhood: hyperpiesia, convulsion, shock. Growth disorders: causes, characteristic. General principles of the psych-motor development: factors of interaction, qualitative changes, timing, dynamics of the changes. Disorder as the psychological problem: reaction to own illness or handicap. Family and handicapped child: reactions of parents, brother and sisters. Handicap as hard life situation: outlet, techniques of active solution, techniques of escape. Early intervention: services, team work, support towards child, support towards family. Educational counselling: aims, competencies, rules, profile of counsellor. Educational counselling: methods, forms, early intervention and pre-school age. Social Pathology . Social deviation, social pathology, risk groups, dependent behaviour, theory of addiction origin - biological, sociological, psychological and drug addiction, types of drug addiction, alcohol addiction, sex addiction, tobacco dependency, dependency on sects and destructive cults, criminality, child abuse, syndrome of abused and neglected child, primary, secondary and tertiary prenention, non-state institutions. Teaching methods of sing language lessons, special terms - hearing-impairment, sign language, gesticulation, symbols, mimicry, dactylology, written communication, speech, visually kinetic, finger spelling, lipreading, development of sign vocabulary, interpreting services, basic instruction for contact between hearing and non-hearing person, principles and work methods. Specialisation in the Field of Study 3 Diagnostics Methods in Special Education. General issues concerning counselling, system of pedagogical-psychological counsellig, care centre for children and young people, other types of counselling centre, education of edcational counsellors. Specialisation in the Field of Study 3 Organ of vision, anatomical structure of human eye, basic physiology of vision, exposition of basic concepts - accommodation of the eye, visual definition, adaptation, colour sense, field of vision, intraocular pressure, survey of most significant optical disorders, their relation to damage of optical functions, determination of basic concept criteria in relation to eye diseases - dim- and weak-sightedness, practical and total blindness, impact of these and ways of treating them. Social Pathology .
