- Course objectives
- Characteristics and comparation of particular kinds of art (architecture, paintings, literature and music) in their development periods. The aim is to obtain comprehensive insight into the different types of art - not in isolation but in context within the eras, styles and directions.
- Syllabus
- This subject is focused on characteristics and comparation various kinds of art (architecture, painting, sculpture, literature and music) from the analogy, specifics and development point of view. The intention is to bring a more complex survey on art. Particular attention is placed on analysis of specific expressional means (signs) of the art works of the same or a similar topic and the issue of interpretation of the art work in general.
