- Course objectives
- In connection with the courses of Personality and social education, Communication skills and Educational diagnostics, the aim of this course is to enable the students to perform own educational experiments. Students would use their theoretical knowledge in practical settings and thus ascertain the extent of their ability to establish contact with pupils, communicate with them, ask questions and gain the children’s interest. Students will observe each other’s lessons. Before performing actual experiments, students will have observed lessons of teachers from faculty schools. At the end of the course, student will be able to professionally record data in an observed lesson, evaluate the performance of observed teachers and colleagues in a sophisticated and responsible manner, prepare own performance, self-reflect on own lessons and give reasons for their evaluations
- Syllabus
- - Personality of a teacher, how to become a good teacher. - Autoctaric, democtratic and liberal teacher. - Teaching styles. - Assertivity, aggressivity, submissivity. The assertive teacher. - Inspection in the classes of the teachers from the teaching schools. - Analysis of the observed classes. - Results of the students, videorecording, immediate evaluation by the fellow students, by the teacher, self-evaluation. - Analysis of the recording of the students performace.
