Prerequisites
basic knowledge- subject Geographical information systems. The course continues the course Geoinformatics for the Teacher of Geography. It deepens knowledge and skills about the spatial data which picture the geographical objects on the Earth and also work with these data through GIS application.

Students work with GIS SW ArcGIS 9.3; create spatial data; edit spatial data; analyse spatial data; vizualise spatial data.

seminary in Laboratory of GIS, homework; Work in the GIS Lboratory with the teacher’s support; practice of basic operations during the work with geographical data through the selected application; independent elaborating of the final work in the GIS laboratory
