Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain ther basics of selected parts of probability and statitics.
Syllabus
  • Combinatorial methods in probability theory.
  • Applications combinatorics, the principle of inclusion and exclusion.
  • Basic concepts of probability theory, conditional probability
  • Independent events Bernouilliovo schema.
  • Continuous and discrete random variables, their distribution and characteristics (mean, dispersion, correlation coefficient).
  • Basic concepts of descriptive statistics and their applications.
  • Statistical a set of basic characteristics and its testing of hypotheses, educational test.
