- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students will understand the basis of developmental triad activity – independence – creativity. The students will also be able to choose and use activity methods enhancing the development of pupils independence and creativity.
- Syllabus
- Topics Activity and independence in historical development of Herbart movement, alternative schools. The concept of creativity from an educational point of view. Methods and instruments enhancing pupils independence and creativity. The ways to pupils creativity. The process of creativity and problem solving. Diagnostics of levels in pupils creative work. Progression in the development of pupils activity, independence (levels of activity, independence and creativity). The conditions and obstructions of pupils creativity. Creative teacher. Creative pupil. Creative school.

- Assessment methods
- The exam takes the form of a series of consultations. A task is defined on the first consultation that concerns activity, independence and creativity, as well as the topic of the disertation project. The second - and possibly third - consultations are there to provide opportunities to discuss the task and its impact on the disertation project.
