Understand and explain the basic special aspects of special andragogy and the problems of adult people with disabilities
Syllabus
  • definition of handicap and disability, inboren and gained disabilities, terminology according to WHO
  • basic terminology in the education and support of people with physical, mental and visual disabilities,with hearing impairment and speech problems
  • social services, legislation
  • personal assistance
  • vocational training, support for choosing the occupation
  • support on transition from school to work
  • employment of people with disabilities
  • supported employment
  • comprehensive rehabilitation
  • support services for people with disabilities
  • therapy as a support of disabled people
