- Course objectives
- This course will primarily be based upon Units 2-4 New English File Advanced.Through practice, students will become more comfortable and more proficient using new complex structures. They will also develop a more sophisticated sense of the subtleties of English, (collocations, connotations, register, etc). They will further develop their reading skills (extra material provided) and work on their listening skills. At the end of the course students will understand and be able to discuss topics included in the course, make arguments for and against, discuss and evaluate advantages and disadvantages of particular issues; present, explain and justify their views.
