- Course objectives
- At the end of this course, students should be able: to practically apply important theoretical knowledge of word structure; to classify kind of words; to differentiate between Czech and French.
- Syllabus
- 1. Personal pronouns, single, non-single. Their usage and positioning in a sentence. 2. Personal single pronoun, simple and in a compound form. 3. Single pronouns of all kinds. 4. Position of pronouns. Pronoun usage in the position of a noun, adjective and adverb. 5. Pronoun adverbs en, y. Adverbial and pronominal functions 6. Adverb: formation, spelling, comparison. Prepositions, prepositional compound words. Conjunctions in co-ordinate and sub-ordinate clauses. Exclamations comparison with Czech. 7. Verbs conjugation of regular, irregular, defective verbs (tenses: past, simple and compound, future; moods: indicative, imperative, interrogative, conditional; aspect in French; active and passive voice.
