- Course objectives
- The aim is to contribute to the understanding of the benefits of eating organic food not only for humans but also for the landscape and the environment. Understanding positives variety of local and seasonal food. And also how our eating habits affect the way back the use of arable land in the country (field x garden). Generally, the condition of the environment affects human health and how current lifestyle affects the environment.
- Syllabus
- 1) What is organic food as we know , the place of origin , ecological footprint , local products , regional brand product . ( Solar power plant biofuel x x bread . ) 2 ) Positiva and negativs of fast foods, greenwashing . 3 ) What is the impact on our health, global climate change 4 ) steps toward more responsible consumerism , healthy shopping. 5 ) What's new about GMOs ? GM crops - threat or opportunity? 6 ) Biomass and various alternative eating styles. 7) Less known fruits and vegetables , food from near , the possibility of self-supply in the city ( edible balcony ) 8 ) The Miraculous pure water. How we use the water . 9 ) Chemical household . The Ten domestic ecology . Toxins in the environment. 10) What's in the food ? ( X health-promoting harmful substances . ) 11 ) Garden therapy and its application to different target groups . 12 ) Wild plants , edible weeds and their increasing importance for a healthy diet , energy germinating plants. 13 ) Medicinal plants and their importance rediscovered currently ( excursion on Kraví hora) .
