- Course objectives
- A necessary part of physical chemistry are calculations, as they make a quantitative description of physical-chemical phenomena possible. The aim of the seminar is:
- to teach the students to apply the physical-chemical formula and lows for solving physical-chemical calculations. - Syllabus
- 1. Phase states.
- 2. Bases of thermodynamics.
- 3. Phase equilibria
- 4. Chemical thermodynamics.
- 5. Solutions of electrolytes.
- 6. Galvanic cells and electrode phenomena.
- 7. Bases of chemical kinetics.
- 8. Colloid systems.
- 9. Chosen optical methods.

Seminar focused on physico-chemical calculations - Assessment methods
- Termination - one of the following three possibilities:
a) 7 correctly calculated protocols (follow instructions of the teacher)
b) at least 60 % points in the final credit-test
c) at least 3 correctly solved calculation examples in the exam test (exam on required course Physical Chemistry). - Language of instruction
