- Course objectives
- At the end of this course the student will be able to correctly use new words and grammatical forms in oral and written communication; to discuss the conversational topics.
- Syllabus
- Into the contentual part of the subject have been inserted these basic conversational topics: 1. Art in the peoples life. 2. Decorative and applied art. 3. Painting. 4. Painting manners in Russia and in our country. 5. Science and investigation. 6. Russian verbs.

- Teaching methods
- Student must actively participate in the class, prepare regulary home assignments. Reading and listening Russian texts.
- Assessment methods
- Written test based on the topics taught in the class. If the student reaches the pass mark in the written test, a discussion with the teacher will be held. The discussion will be based on the topics from the course, the reading (Russian book – 350 p.), the student will bring and show the book, and listening (audio, video, DVD). The correct grammar, content, vocabulary used, as well as pronunciation and intonation will be evaluated. The student will also provide a vocabulary exercise book, which will contain at least fifty new words.
