- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to practice knowledge about production sector (agriculture and industry) on practical examples. At the end of this course the student will be able to apply basic statistical methods to specific examples of the geography of agriculture and industry and interpret results; create a map outputs based on official data or data from own survey or observation; evaluate the impact of agriculture and industry on the environment and propose rational solutions mitigating negative impacts.

- Above mentioned list of excercises could be replaced by excercises reflecting actual situation in economic and social develeopment it the world.

- Teaching methods
- Practical excercises, application of methods of social-geographical research. Field work.
- Assessment methods
- Excercises elaborated on time in appropriate quality, i.e. exercise contains all of the required input (deadline for submission is set when entering the workout and is also stored in the specification of exercise in the study materials in IS), active participation on seminars. If excercises are organised in blocks, 100% presence is required.
