- Course objectives
- Current state of the professional field, professional terminology, comparison with foreign countries, classifications of behavioral disorders, theoretical concepts of solutions, behavioral disorders with aggression, with conflict, with substance abuse;
education of individuals at-risk of developing behavioral disorders, with behavioral disorders, with ADD;
concept of case management; system of educational and supportive institutions for students with behavioral problems, with behavioral disorders;
personality of an individual with behavioral disorder definition, characteristics, connection with quality of life;
personality of special teacher specializing in behavioral disorders;
system approach towards education of students with behavioral disorders;
system of educational facilities for institutional and protective care and preventive educational care; legal framework of foster care.
At the end of the course, the students will be able:
- Understand the difficulties of an approach to the individuals suffering from the behaviour disorders.
- Know about the possibilities of prevention and re education of the individuals suffering from the behavioural disorders.
- Understand the institutions and their functions concerning the children with behavioural disorders - Syllabus
- 1. Etopaedic as a science.
- 2. Terminology.
- 3. Declaration of basic rights and liberties, treaty of childs rights.
- 4. Historical development in conceptions.
- 5. Personal attitudes to problematics solving.
- 6. Causal factors.
- 7. Difference as a risk factor.
- 8. Conditions of school enviroment for education of individuum with DOEB.
- 9. Characteristic of child (pupil) with deviations of behaviour.
- 10. Evolutional deviations of behaviourí – ADD, ADHD.
- 11. Integration (inclusion) of individuum with handicap.
- 12. Alternative family cares, institutional and protective education.
