Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with basic aspects of the word, its function in within the language system, its role and the basic functions of stylistic language levels. The lecture is a basic theoretical work with the word. Emphasis is placed especially on the clasp and interdependence of stylistic and lexical plans, on the word and its functioning in various stylistic levels.

  • 1. Stylistisc, its subject and contents.
  • 2. History of evolution.
  • 3. Functional styles.
  • 4. Distinction of functional styles from the lexical, phonetical, morphological and syntactical point of view.
