Course objectives
Use theoretical and practical knowledge in fitness area for both Physical Education and elaboration of the individual training unit.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the participants will be able to design their own fitness activities with suitable educational aims. They will be trained for international teaching and learning where intercultural communication will be stressed.
Syllabus
  • Basic fitness knowledge – basic terminology, method of exercising, physical skills and abilities. Basic physiology, anatomy, nutrition knowledge. Health aspects in fitness. Stretching principles. Fitness training unit elaboration, PE modification.

Theoretical teaching and practical mass and individual tuitions in the gym.

Regular fitness training. Credit requirements: active participation at the lessons and final colloquium participation.
