Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce the students into the fields of pre-primary and primary education, that focus on the specific processes of education in kindergartens and in primary schools. The course aims for the students to understand the systemic, curricular and psychodidactic contexts of pre-primary and primary education.
Learning outcomes
After finishing the course, the student is able to:
Characterize the aims, contents and means in pre-primary and primary education.
Evaluate and justify the transformation of the curriculum of pre-primary and primary education.
Characterize the didactic strategies applied in kindergartens and elementary schools and to use the tools of pedagogical diagnostics of individuals and groups.
Describe and explain the specifics of the activities of teachers in kindergartens and elementary schools.
