Course objectives
Part 1 -impaired communication ability Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the problem of impaired communication skills in education And the issue of support measures for pupils with these special educational needs. Students with They will also familiarize themselves with the current legislation, the activities and procedures of the SPC, PPP counseling centers in support of pupils with special educational needs, including the possibilities of interdisciplinary cooperation. Part 2 - hearing impairment Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the concept of support measures, to explain and describe the degree of support measures for pupils with hearing impairment, which are provided at basic schools in inclusive education.
Learning outcomes
Outputs expected - speech therapy part:  The student is oriented in the current legislative regulations relating to the issue of pupil education Special educational needs;  is aware of current legislative provisions relating to the issue of support measures;  It is oriented in the provision of counseling services and cooperation between the counseling facility and the family And school. Outputs expected - hearing impairment part: - student is oriented to new school legislation; - can characterize support measures for pupils with hearing impairment in the inclusive school environment; - is able to create a pedagogical support plan or an individual educational plan; - is orientated in a range of hearing aids that help listening to spoken speech, control wireless accessories, and Able to properly assess the need for their use.

  • Main topics (curriculum) - ICA:  The issue of impaired communication skills and its impact on pupils' education.  Diagnosis of impaired communication skills, role of counseling equipment, interdisciplinary cooperation.  Collaboration of the family and school in the education of pupils with impaired communication ability.  Legislative regulations relating to the education of pupils with impaired communication skills and provision Support measures.  Characteristics of individual steps of support measures.  Characteristics of the procedures that can be used in support of pupils with impaired communication skills in the field of teaching organization and modification of teaching methods and forms, including editing the content of education, Evaluation; The presentation of educational aids and materials that can also be used to support pupils. Main themes (syllabus) - SP: - The activity of the school counseling facility and the school counseling center in the context of the provision Support measures. Interdisciplinary cooperation. - Level 1 of support measures - Pedagogical Support Plan (PLPP), Planning and its role in education Pupils with special educational needs and providing higher levels of support measures. - Recommendations for the education of pupils with special educational needs in the 2nd-5th.
