Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to teach mathematics in the primary school. Student will understand the methods and forms in mathematical education, necessary knowledge and skills to teaching of arithmetic and geometry in primary school.
Syllabus
  • Methodic and didactic analysis of the primary mathematics subject matter. Natural numbers, fractions, decimals. Basic operations. Projects methods. Geometry: point, line, plane, triangle, square, rectangle, circle. Solids figure. Measurement. Symmetry. Applications.
