Course objectives
The aim is to obtain a arranged knowledge related to the areas of information and communication technologies, as well as basic skills to work with given technology. Application of acquired knowledge and skills in real life and realized teaching.

Knowledge: specialized terminology of IT
Skills: edit and convert images; able to work in a text editor; able to create multimedia educational presentations;
Attitudes: learn the values of objectivity and the importance of educational work; appropriate use of technology by the intensity of the discussed studies
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should know and be able to:
- Determine the suitability and application of technology in education
- Create a learning support using its own technology and commercially available programs
- Apply the knowledge gained in teaching process
Syllabus
  • Syllabus of lectures (after weeks or blocks):
  • Word processing - Working with text and formatting, inserting objects into text
  • Word processing - educational use of text documents, other applications for word processing, printing
  • Word processing - a repeat of typographic rules
  • Presenting the teaching and presentation types - types of presentations, how to properly present
  • Presenting during classes and types of presentation - Layout Training presentations
  • Presenting during classes and types of presentation - verbal communication, presentation technique and its use in practice
  • Processing presentations - timing, effects, inserting objects
  • Processing presentations - preparation and presentation of export, other types of applications for creating presentations
  • Tables and graphs - work with tables, formatting, formulas and functions, graphs, printing and publishing tables
  • Databases and database systems - the basic concepts of databases, relational database model, DBS MS Access
  • Processing raster graphics - digital photography and camera concepts from the area, the application for processing raster graphics, basic editing of images for use in teaching
  • Processing vector graphics - options and benefits, creating and editing images, creating diagrams and schematics

Full-time study mode
The seminar is evaluated from the ongoing tasks. Deadline to submit tasks is always last educational Sunday of the semester.
In the seminar are allowed three absences.
Colloquium: Final written test with a success rate of 60 % with oral colloquium by curriculum of the subject.
