This part of the course of practical language presupposes the starting level of receptive skills higer than B1 and level of productive skills B1.

Course objectives
The course emphasis is on the French language in social and cultural context, grammatical structures and their understanding. The course completes JC2 and responds to news from a given language area.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, students should be able to: understand articles and reports concerned with contemporary problems provided that the topic is reasonably familiar; interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity, take an active part in discussion in familiar contexts while accounting for, and sustaining their views; write an essay or report, passing on information or giving reasons in support of, or against, a particular point of view.

  • Grammar, phraseology and vocabulary on the basis of the textbook Allez hop! 2 and different documents (contemporary materials according to current events).
