  • History of political theories in 20th century. Sociology in political theories of 20th century. Critical theory of Frankfurt school. Existencialism - human, freedom, society. Political philosophy of Christian personalism. Liberal notion of state and social justice. Totality in works of Arendt and Aron. Theory of democracy in 20th century (R. Dahl, K. Popper). Perspectives of post-capitalist and post-communist society - P. Berger, R. Dahrendorf, U. Beck, F. Fukuyama, A. and H. Toffler, S. Huntington, F. Zakaria, N. Chomsky, Y.N.Harari.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
1. Práce v semináři jako předpoklad ZK. Připuštění ke ZK: aktivní 80% účast v seminářích, uznaná seminární práce (téma po konzultaci s vyučujícím). 2. Zkouška: 30 minut na písemnou přípravu 2 otázek, pak až ústní zkouška.
