Cíle předmětu
Students will
expand their awareness of specific needs the learners with dyslexia have while studying English as a foreign language;
learn how to respect the SpLD learners´specific needs;
practise basic classroom management techniques suitable for classes with SpLD learners;
accommodate SpLD learners in the lessons using different scaffolding techniques;
make themselves familiar with different forms of assessment of SpLD learners.
Výstupy z učení
- students will have a deeper, research and evidence-based understanding of the challenges dyslexic learners face while learning English as a foreign language;
- students will be able to use different means to accommodate SpLD learners in their classes;
- students will be able to assess, adapt or create resources and materials suitable for their SpLD learners.
