- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to prepare for the final exam in German. During the examination, the doctoral candidate must demonstrate that he/she is able to read and understand a technical text, to follow a specialist lecture and to answer questions that relate to their respective specialty and their own dissertation.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course, the students have an overview about the state of the art in German-written literature and terminology in their field of research. Students should be able to read and understand research based literature, to follow a lecture in German and to comment on questions related to his/her field of interest.
- Syllabus
- Students work on their own and individual Consultations by appointments. Selfstudy is based on following tasks:
- - Summary of three German-written studies the field of own research interest (incl. Bibliography).
- - Creating of list of Vocabulary to Methodology in the field of own research interest.
- - Preparation of presentation about own dissertation thesis.
