Course objectives
The educational objectives of the course are basic knowledge and understanding of all basic areas of physics didactics; basic reproductive skills of didactic transformation of physics knowledge with the ability to work with educational objectives and educational technology; didactic analysis of all topics of basic physics using current textbooks. Emphasis is placed, among others, on motivational teaching techniques.
Knowledge: basic knowledge of curriculum analysis, motivational techniques, types of physics problems and school experiments.
Skills: Didactically analyze and transform physics education content, plan and implement instruction.
Attitudes: Reflection and self-evaluation in the teacher's activity, learning individual approaches to students.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the Participant should know and be able to:
- understand the definition of physics didactics as a discipline that integrates knowledge from physics, pedagogy and educational psychology,
- implement the basic stages of didactic transformation of physics content,
- analyze didactically all thematic units of elementary school physics using current textbooks,
- to implement the didactic transformation of physics contents of primary school physics,
- to accept physics didactics as a key discipline in the professional training of physics teachers.
