Course objectives
The course builds on and complements the knowledge discussed in the course Business Teaching 1 in the previous semester. It complements and deepens knowledge in the field of business logistics and distribution, with the specification of supplier selection and handling of goods in both wholesale and retail terms. The issue of quality and quality management in the context of consumer protection and supervisory bodies is discussed, which is extended to the area of food safety system and e-commerce. Students will gain a comprehensive overview of the issues of trade and business entrepreneurship.

Knowledge: theoretical anchoring of individual areas of trade and business entrepreneurship
Skills: practical application of theoretical approaches in business
Attitudes: distinguish between different forms of business activities associated with different forms of business units in making informed business decisions
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to define the basic concepts in business with emphasis on the classification of goods, the structure of the trade assortiment, legal protection of consumers and the mission of supervisory authorities in the field of trade.

The course takes the form of lectures, discussions, solving thematically oriented examples and independently processed project.
Assessment methods
The course is completed by a colloquium in the form of oral discussion over the written preparation.
